7th June

Sunday morning another wet start, I did the house dogs and then put Kiro and Reo away.
The labs went out for a short run and then back into the back pen under cover.
I let all of the kennel dogs out for a quick run and then put Coosa’s group out and moved the labs back into their kennel so Coosa’s group could have the back pen and stay dry if they wanted to.
I cleaned the puppy’s pen and the poodle’s room ready for the evening.
As it was so horrible and wet I spent 3 hours working on the planning and listed stuff for the house with my sister.
I fed everyone their lunch time feeds and they had another run while the rain was not so heavy.
I got the frozen food out for the morning.
Kirsty popped in to pick up some food and we had a coffee and a chat and then the next dogs went out.
The rain stopped for a couple of hours so I managed to weed some more of the bed by the house.
I wormed puppies and then got the feeds ready for the evening.
Cito and shone went out in the field, the house dogs went out on the drive.
I hosed the yorkies yard and let them up to the top yard for a while so they could get out into the garden.
I did some paper work for a short time and then got my dinner ready.
I fed the puppies and the bitches all went for the last run.
Coosa’s group came in and had food and then I picked up in the drive and locked the gates.
Kiro and Reo went out with food, the yorkies went in with food and then the house dogs came in for the night.
Monday morning was a dry start the house dogs went out, Kiro and Reo went in.
I let the labs out in the pen for food and then out into the field, I was cleaning their pen and the rain started so I brought them in and put them into the back of Coosa’s pen while I went down and started the kennel dogs.
All the groups went out individually so they were not out for too long.
Everyone was cleaned out and fed and then the rain eased up and I let everyone out and finished off weeding along the bank from the garage up to the kennel.
I cleaned the poodles room and washed the floor and left it to dry.
I got the chicken out to defrost and then had lunch and fed the house dogs.
I cut up the chicken and fed the kennel dogs and the puppies.
The afternoon was constant rain so I spent the day in the office sorting out paper work.
The rain was still heavy so I let the labs out into the back pen and fed them and then let the bitches out of the kennel and fed the puppies.
The labs went back into their kennel and Coosa’s group came in for food early, they were in by 7 pm.
I wrote the blog and then ventured out to locked the gates.
Kiro and Reo went out for the night and then Cito and Shone came in.
Tuesday morning was another wet start so the house dogs went out and then the Labradors went into the back pen for food and then out into the field.
I cleaned their pen and left it to dry.
Kiro and Reo in, and the yorkies out with food.
House dogs back in and Shone and Cito stayed out in the bottom block.
I did the kennel dogs and then put the labs back in their kennel as it was still raining.
Cito and Shone went out into the field the house dogs went out into the bottom block and then I cleaned it ready for Shone and Cito coming back in.
I did the fire and then cleaned the poodle’s room and cleaned the puppies in the house out again.
I did some cooking as it was too wet to let the little dogs back out yet.
I cut up the chicken ready for feeding at lunch time.
Off to the dentist for a check-up and a quick trip to Sainsbury’s.
I got home and fed everyone and then Nathan popped in briefly.
The dogs went back out again as the rain had finally stopped.
I sorted out some coping for the planning application and then made a couple of phone calls.
I got the evening feeds ready and put the bed down in Coosa’s kennel.
The labs were fed and went out in the field for a couple of hours.
I cleaned the bottom yards and picked up in the drive.
Everyone was fed and then Coosa’s group came in and then the labs in and Reo and Kiro went out and the house dogs came in.
Wednesday morning was dry and sunny I put the house dogs out and then the labs out and cleaned their kennel and Reo and Kiro in.
I fed the house dogs and left them in for a short time, puppies clean and fed.
I did the kennel dogs and then lit the fire, I picked up in the paddock and then put the labs in the front pen and let Cito and Shone out into the field.
I went out in the drive with the bitches and picked up and opened the top gates.
I got my van ready for training and put my bag and folders in, the cage was ready for Shiraz.
Another pallet of food ordered for the end of the week.
I cleaned one of the top pen areas where Coosa’s group go in the day time.
I cut up the chicken for lunch time feeds and soaked the puppy food; I fed the kennel dogs and then the house group.
I was hoping to get the rest of the forms filled out ready for listed buildings but I was running out of time, I got the rest of the printing done and just have to arrange all the paper work and check the fee’s, I need hopefully one more meeting with them and then the forms can go in.
I had a quick bath and got out my clothes ready for training and then got the feeds ready for the evening and the next morning.
The labs had their food and went out into the field.
I fed everyone and then put Coosa’s bed down for later when I get home.
The labs came into their kennel and then Coosa’s group had field one and the back pen as it was hot and they would prefer to lay inside in the cool.
I brought Cito and Shone into the house with the poodles and then picked up in the drive and opened the gates.
I got changed and took Shiraz off for the first night back in the silver class.
There were 4 of my puppies in the puppy class which was nice to see how they were getting along.
We had a good night and Shiraz was pretty good not perfect on the stays but not too bad.
I got home I put Shiraz in and let the house dogs out and the yorkie’s locked in, and brought Coosa’s group in and fed then the bitches went out in the drive and Narla and Siren out in the field.
I had emails to check and then answer phone messages, I made a couple of calls and then brought the dogs in and let Reo and Kiro out for the night and brought the house dogs back in and fed them.
Thursday morning another nice bright start the house dogs went out while I cleaned the puppies out and made the feeds, I fed the pups and then put Kiro and Reo in and fed them.
I let the labs out and fed them and then put them out into the field and cleaned their pen and came back down and put the house dogs in.
I did the kennel dogs and lit the fire; I picked up in the drive and then opened the gates.
I left Coosa’s group out and Narla and Siren out.
I went off to the osteopath; this session was not quite as bad as the one last week that really knocked me for six.
After I had finished I popped into M&S and got some food and then home to get everyone out before the meat delivery arrived.
Narla and Siren came in and Shone and Cito went out in the field.
The meat arrived so I cut up what I needed and then fed everyone.
I cut up the next box of chicken ready for Friday’s feeding.
The yorkies went out in the drive and I power washed their yard.
I soaked the feeds and then put the yorkies away and Razzles group out in the drive.
Shone and Cito came in and Coosa’s group moved over to field two and I fed the labs and put them out into field one.
I fed the puppies and then bitches went out again.
Everyone was fed and then I had dinner, I went back out after dinner and then I brought all of the dogs in and fed Coosa’s group and then locked up the kennel and picked up in the drive and locked the gates.
I let Kiro and Reo out and then brought the house dogs in for food.
Friday morning was a nice hot dry start, I put the house dogs out and fed the puppies and then fed the labs and cleaned their pen.
I brought the house dogs in and fed them and then did the kennel dogs and picked up in the drive and opened the gates ready for the meat coming in.
Hannah arrived to groom the little dogs.
I had a couple of phone calls to sort out and then lit the fire.
I had paper work to do for puppies going out this weekend.
Hannah and I flushed out the ears on a few of the little dogs and then Hannah held the pups while I microchipped them.
The meat had arrived so I froze the bones and cut up20 kilo’s of chicken and then soaked the puppy food and fed everyone.
I washed the floors in the house and fed the house dogs.
It looked like rain so the labs went into their kennel with bones and then Shone and Cito came in to the bottom block.
Narla and Siren went out in the field and the next group of dogs went out in the drive.
I did the lunch time feeds and then washed the floors in the house and fed the house dogs.
I wormed puppies and then got the paper work ready for pups going out.
It looked like rain so I put the Labradors in their kennel with bones just in case it rained; we only had a small shower so they came back out after half an hour.
I took more biscuit up to the top kennel for the labs morning feeds.
I cleaned the bottom yard and picked up in the drive.
The paddock was in need of picking up and stinging nettles removing.
I brushed Cito and Shone and then up to the top to brush Coosa, his coat is really coming out now like pulling reams of cotton wool, he got bored after about half an hour and wandered off.
I changed the field water buckets and then picked up in the garden and the bottom block.
I had a chat with Rach to sort out about one of her dogs coming down next week.
I cleaned the puppies in the house out and then got my dinner ready and swapped over dogs in the drive.
I had dinner and then back out to weed by the gate in Coosa’s field.
I fed everyone and brought he lab group in.
I cleaned Reo and Kiro’s kennel out completely and gave both of them a brush.
I was waiting for a customer that had forgotten he was supposed to be coming, so I locked up the gates and let another group of dogs out.
Kirsty popped in for me to worm Max and pick up some food.
I brought the rest of the dogs in and answered some emails, I finished at the kennel and then let Kiro and Reo out at just after 10 pm, I went in and finished the house dogs and fed them.
Saturday morning was a dry windy start, the house dogs went out and I cleaned the puppies out and fed them.
I put Kiro and Reo away and then let the labs out and fed them, they were in Coosa’s field.
I fed Cito and Shone and then brought the rest of the house dogs back in and fed them.
I fed the yorkies and let them out and then went up to the kennel and fed everyone and let them out.
I did the fire and brought the labs in and put Cito and shone out in the field.
I had two puppies leaving and one owner whose pup is staying for a while come and visit, Jess popped in for his bulldog food.
After everyone had gone I put the washing out on the line and then got the next lot in the wash.
Cito and Shone came in and I fed Coosa’s group and then put Narla out in the field.
I wormed pups and then soaked the lunch time feeds.
I fed the first group and some of the bitches.
House dogs and yorkies fed.
I put Razzles group out in the drive with food and then went up to the top of field three with paper and loads of boxes to burn all the hedge cuttings Dave had cut a few weeks ago, all the stuff still laid on the ground was hard to pull up as the grass had grown around it, I pulled up as much as possible and burnt it, there will still probably be another fire up there in a few weeks’ time to get all of the bits.
I came back down and put Razzles group away and then let the Schnauzers and the pups out into the drive.
The labs went into their kennel and Cito and Shone out in the field for an hour.
I left Budds group out in the front pen and I went to Sainsbury’s to get some more cold pills as I have been feeling rough all day.
I got home and brought Cito and Shone in and put them in the garden Coosa’s group moved fields again and then Narla and Siren out for the last run.
I took all of the yorkies and the house poodles out into the drive for an hour while I made some phone calls sat outside keeping an eye on them.
I wrote the blog and then brought everyone in at 9 pm Kiro and Reo out and I was in for dinner.
