I rang the vets and made an appointment for as soon as Gavin came back from his visit to another customer.
I had a puppy leave and then my fire officer arrived to do the yearly check up on the extinguishers, I explained what was going on and he rushed through the checks and did the paper work.

I locked up the house and put Taska in the van and off to the vets, I took her in and weighed her and then Gavin gave her a pre-med and on the table she went, Heather the vet nurse put the anaesthetic in and then tubed her and prepped her ready for Gavin, after he had dealt with the ulcerated tumour Heather stitched her up and we put her in a cage for a while before loading her into my van, Gavin was very impressed with her she is always good with the vet.

It was looking very much like rain so I put the labs out early just so they had a good run if they did have to go into their kennel earlier than normal, I moved Coosa’s group over to field two and the paddock, Matzi decided it was going to rain so he got himself a nice spot inside the green calf kennel and then Coosa started to howl as he thought he may get left out in the rain, I let the bitches out into the drive and then went out and brushed Coosa so he knew I was around and if it rained I would move him into the top block under cover.
